Centrifuge Youth Camp

June 16-20 (Panama City Beach, FL)

Centrifuge is our annual summer camp where we get away from the home front for five days in order to focus upon our spiritual lives (not to mention all the awesome fun, new friends, and incredible experiences we have).

We have been to several locations over the past few years including, Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN (We've actually been there twice and it was our location last summer); North Greenville College in Greenville, SC; Lifeway Conference Center in Black Mountain, NC; and finally we experienced a different type of fuge called "Xfuge" in Panama City Beach, FL.

This year's camp location will be a return to Panama City Beach, FL, but with a twist.  We will participate in the Centrifuge camp we all know and love (not XFuge) and it will be held at another camp location other than the place we stayed at in the past.  The name of the place we'll be is the Shalimar Conference Center.  Shalimar sits about 100 yards away from the Gulf of Mexico in it's own private locale (If you went to Xfuge a few years ago, you'll remember we didn't have a private locale).

The cost for this year's camp is $200.00 per camper.  This does not include the money we plan out of the youth budget nor any of the fund raising events you will have to participate in prior to the trip.  The actual cost per camper is $284.00, but all we are charging is the $200.00.  The remaining balance of $84.00 comes from our fundraising events (Which will be planned in the near future).

Note: ALL youth and adult leaders are expected to participate in the fund raising events we will do in 2008.  Our goal is to raise a minimum of $2,600.00.  Of course, the church budget includes plans for the rental of our charter bus (Any money above and beyond the $2,600.00 made by fund-raising will go toward the bus charter).

Stay tuned for specific details for this event.  Registration requires a $50.00 non-refundable deposit which you can pay to Bro. Tommy at any time.  Be sure to download the correct forms also found on this page below:
